Trevor Noah Tells It Like It Is

Philando Castle was shot in his car after police pulled him over for a broken light, with his girlfriend and young daughter in the car. This week, the officer who shot him multiple times was acquitted of all charges. Trevor Noah addressed this better than anyone else I've heard, on The Daily Show. He added his personal experience in a "between the scenes" unaired segment.

From watching the video it seems tat the officer was stopping him because his THIRD(high level)brake light was out.
ONLY TWO BRAKE LIGHTS ARE REQUIRED UNDER MINNESOTA LAWS THE THIRD (HIGH LEVEL)LIGHT IS NOT EVEN MENTIONED.
Illegal stop.

DWB. Driving while black. I worked in South Central Los Angeles and Compton, and I heard lots of stories. Every black person I knew, both students and teachers, had stories to tell of police threats. And we may be Southern California, but we're not the South. This happened in Minneapolis, about as far north as you get in this country. I hope and pray I see an end to that before I die.

In the second video he mentions that there is a problem with the police force and how they are trained.

I agree, but I don't think it is because they are trained to be racist. I believe they are trained to be paranoid. Their training is based on every interaction with the public can turn deadly for them. If they (the police) don't maintain their position in the interaction as dominate and controlling, it can turn life threatening in an instant.

Reality is that more police officers are killed in car accidents every year than are killed by a member of the general public.
